The Disappearance
It had been an ordinary autumn afternoon when Ethan Parker, a 19-year-old college dropout, first noticed something strange. His best friend, Dylan, hadn’t shown up to their usual hangout for over a week. At first, Ethan thought Dylan was just busy or avoiding him, but when his messages went unanswered, worry set in. No one had seen Dylan. His parents hadn’t heard from him, and his social media had gone silent.
Late one night, while wandering through town, Ethan caught a glimpse of someone in the distance someone who looked like Dylan, but something felt off. The way he moved, the cold stare that didn’t acknowledge Ethan. That couldn’t be Dylan.
Ethan decided to follow him.
